Bengalooru? : What's in a name?
A name is an identity.
Changing it, changes your identity.
The bigger you are, the more stable your identity needs to be!
So when a big popular city like Bangalore decides to change her name, I'm worried about the instability in her identity.

Update 11/12/06: A friend in UK, wanted to know what this all actually means. Well it means that all documentation and signs referring to Bangalore, would then have to be changed, at a huge cost to the government, as well as the people.
