Smart anti Covid homes

What does it mean to have a smart Covid safe home?

Well, it would mean:

  1. Contactless entry and delivery: So when someone comes to your home, the door should automatically open, rather than require anyone to actually open it. If you get a parcel, there should be a smaller door for that, which opens when the right delivery provider reaches the premise, and accepts cashless payments.
  2. Emergency enabled: Connection with the emergency service in case of fire, robbery, murder, abuse, medical emergency.
  3. In-house doctor/dietician/mentor/instructor service
  4. Energy conservation:Reduced dependency on light and airconditioning through usage of techniques and materials towards energy conservation, like driving electric vehicles, using electronic fans, solar heating and solar electricity, as per the geographical conditions. Use of electronic robots for serving, cooking and cleaning
  5. Waste Management:Ensuring that all waste is either returned to source, via the circular economy, or ensuring waste is managed on site, such as ensuring that kitchen grey water goes to the soil, rather than being mixed with toilet waste. Non vegetarian waste should ideally go to dogs or any other such animal who will consume it, while vegetarian waste, can directly go the soil and aid in composting.
  6. Event based reporting rather than recording based reporting: It is much more advantageous to link sensors with cameras to ensure recording of actual events, rather than record gigabytes of data, and expect humans to scour through this data regularly, or after the event has happened, which defeats the purpose.
  7. Sensors on humans to record existing health conditions and make suggestions to improve human conditions like immunity.
  8. Community services to connect homes together, like a society for a group of flats or houses or villas.
  9. Green homes which are in congruence with nature.
