Microsoft Word Application: Leave your laptop

One of the key reasons most of us still keep our laptops with us, is for when we need to write documents, especially product managers, consultants and sales managers.

So, the Microsoft Word application does a pretty good job of that, with a few glitches, where with Microsoft, we have come to live with.

So, first off, the Format painter is missing. The Shift F3 is missing, when you get irritated that someone sent you a document with all caps.

The Save as PDF option is glaringly missing, which means that every email you send the PDF document on, has to be a new one, rather than an email reply.

 

The Paste Format is pretty glitchy.

 

So I would suggest that we save multiple versions and then copy and paste.

As we all know, making a document from scratch was always an issue with Microsoft Word.

So try as much as you can to use an existing template, where some of them are pretty nice and covers most use cases.

A glitch I find, is that sometimes, a document is missing from the Recent tab, so just go to the Documents folder and open it up. Saves a lot of stress to know.
